AKA Zi's RP bucket list! These are a smattering of prompts, crosscanon CR, and canon-specific scenarios that I would do serious things to thread out. Characters in bold are people I play. (/ denotes romantic relationships, + denotes platonic.)

General AU ideas

• Disney World Internships OR Disneybound: Either our characters work at Disney World during the academic year, or they dress up as Disney characters while visiting the parks, or even both if you want to get ambitious. How do they handle the most magical place on Earth?
  
• College AU
  
• Magical Girl / Superhero AU (subset: X-Men AU, My Hero Academia AU, or Teen Titans AU)
  
• Normalized Magic AU: think "buying shots of wisdom at your local coffee shop" or "blaming a change in weather on wizards or the fae"; essentially, magic made mundane and/or given mundane utilities.
  
• Canon Fusion: smushing the two worlds together so that everything happened in the same universe. Harry Potter's a Pokemon Trainer, or Bruce Wayne is a Muggle Studies teacher at Hogwarts, or Peter Parker and Clark Kent work together at the Metropolis Bugle, etc
  
• Harry Potter AU

• Riordanverse AU: Our characters are demigods, half-human and half-mortal. The Pantheon of choice depends on what you're most comfortable with - are they Greek and part of Camp Half-Blood? Are they Roman and thus part of Camp Jupiter? Are they Norse and dead and now part of Hotel Valhalla? Are they training under the Egpytian ways and residing in Brooklyn House? You choose your adventure.
  
• Noragami AU: On a slightly related note, your characters are now either fledgling Gods or shinki, pure spirits chosen to serve as their gods' weapons. OR they're the mortals who promise to help raise the profile of the god they worship.
  
• Noragami + Riordanverse AU: . . . now you're just being ambitious, man.
  
• Bungo Stray Dogs AU: Characters either work for the Armed Detective Agency or the Port Mafia, and those with special abilities have ones named after a phrase / work they're most known for. Bonus points if the characters in question were authors in their own canon.
  
• Harvest Moon and/or Stardew Valley AU
  
• Kingdom Hearts (and/or various Final Fantasy) AU

Crosscanon AU Scenarios

AU's in the Magical Girl genre (+ Ever After High)

• Tyler Lockwood as a magical girl mascot (think a baby black wolf), and his ship partner as the magical girl he's assigned to guide. Alternatively, a little sister figure as the magical girl he's assigned to guide, and him feeling mega awkward about it forever and always.
  
• Stefan Salvatore as the Understanding (and Clueless) Boyfriend who is always supportive of a magical girl - and secretly the Big Bad.
  
• Bonnie as a magical girl.
  
• Tyler attending Ever After High as the next Big Bad Wolf, and being unsure about the destiny he's supposed to fulfill. (Bonus: he's crushing hard on Cerise - Red Riding Hood - or a fairytale kid that's off-limits)
  

Canon Fusion AU's

• Bruce Wayne adopting a child from another canon & training them to become the next Robin. Emphasis on a NON-DCU OR MARVEL character becoming a Wayne.
  
• Stefan Salvatore surviving the apocalypse because that's how vampires roll + befriending other survivors
  
• Bonnie Bennett learning magic from a non-TVD witch and branching out in her arsenal of spells.
  
• Bonnie Bennett trying to summon a familiar; instead of a cute, cuddly animal, she's instead bestowed with her ship partner and must navigate the witch-familiar boundaries while trying not to fall for the guy that's stuck with her.
  
• Tyler Lockwood as a member of a werewolf pack and navigating werewolf life with other shapeshifters
  
• Re-Fated AU: Characters end up in a town where their alternate selves all lived together, with one catch - they don't remember their alternate selves. (Canon characters are plopped into an AU as if they've always lived there, with crosscanon CR coming from the family / friend situations that arise from it!)

• Tyler never became a hybrid
  
• Religion AU: Tyler majors in religion + decides to seek out a path in religious leadership after the events of s6
  
• Kingdom Hearts AU: Stefan is the Keyblade bearer, chosen after Damon rejects the call in favor of falling into darkness & Elena takes refuge in Stefan's heart (bonus: a Wayfinder trio in the form of Tom Avery, Enzo, and Lexi Branson, and Silas-as-Roxas and Katherine-as-Namine)
  
• Persona 5 AU: Tyler joins the Phantom Thieves to steal his father's heart, ends up sticking around out of personal loyalty (Moon Arcana; his persona would be Coyote)
  
• After S6, Elena fakes the circumstances that lead to her leaving the show + travels across the country with Jeremy & Tyler as their voice of reason + sole female vampire slayer (may or may not lead to a Tyler/Elena ship, I'm fine either-way)
