[ Six glorious weeks until their wedding. Iris could almost pinch herself: in six weeks, she would be Iris West-Allen (a hyphenator, like future-her had been. Or will be.)
In the meantime, though, she's got a whole binder with tasks that need to be completed. She could've taken the weight off her shoulders and hired a wedding planner. Linda had been hinting it for weeks. Get a planner and let the planner worry about the caterer. And the venue. And the dress. And literally anything and everything.
One small problem: Iris is also a perfectionist at heart, and she'll only feel super satisfied if she's had a say in everything. No planner can call her for every little detail - and this time, she's even managed to drag Barry along for the ride. They're taking the rest of the afternoon off to meet with their caterer, and of course, the florist.
She doubts her Bear really has a strong opinion on her bouquet, let alone the arrangements that'll be present in their grand hall, but the food? Well. Might as well save the good stuff for last, right?
So she saunters into his CSI lab, just like old times, and reaches for his coffee to take a sip. Some things never change. ]
